This is the seventh on-line eCourse from Swiftnet Marketing.

In the last course we discussed affiliate marketing and how this is a great way to earn money online without ever touching any products.

A website is the best way to promote affiliate products. It is best to focus on one of a few related affiliate products on your website.

Website's are ranked in google and other search engines by actual pages on website;s not the domain name themselves. Thus you could have a website called barkingdogs.com where the homepage is ranked 1003 and a web page on this site barkingdogs.com/collars.html is ranked #1 on google.

For this reason it is a good idea to develop website with good keywords that do not have a high level of competition

So to do this for affiliate website use Wordtracker and spend a day just searching for terms related to your affiliate website picking the terms without much competitions and putting these into a spreadsheet.

Then research the web on particular areas of your affiliate website and put together roughly 500 word pages on each keyword phrase you have in your spreadsheet. This is number of words is a rough estimate of what search engines like to see on single pages on websites to obtain good natural page rank (PR). This is what comes up in the search engines naturally when you type something in to search.

To build your own websites you will need some tools of course. A great tool I use for building affiliate website is Xsitepro. It has built in SEO features and also include quick template to help you create pages very quickly without technical knowledge.

I also use Adobe Creative Suite 3 to develop complete web pages with graphics and interactive elements from beginning to end. This is one of the most popular web design packages out there even though it is a bit pricey.
