This is the third on-line eCourse from Swiftnet Marketing.

In the last lesson we touched on some ways to find niches on the internet and some tools to use to find them. But to find these on Ebay you actually need a different set of things to use.

Some free ways of doing this is checking out the hot selling items on ebay at ebay pulse:

http://pulse.ebay.com/

Do not forget to check the different categories.

You can see what people are looking for but cannot find on ebay's want it now page.

http://pages.ebay.com/wantitnow/

Then after you find what they are looking for and what is hot you can check how much they are selling for. A simple free way to do this is to look at completed items in Ebay's advanced search feature.

Once you are there click completed items check box and then type in your search and this will show you what sold and for how much.

These are great ways to see what is selling now on ebay but for long term trends you need a tool like terpapeak which has a free and paid search tool.

A tip for using this tool as well as the ebay completed items advanced search feature is to look for items with a high number of bids. This will show a high demand for the product.
